• Substation layouts and section drawings preparation for budgetary offers / tenders / projects based specification
• Prepare, review and validate bill of material for tenders or projects based on requirement
• Preparing B.O.Q estimation for the major equipment for a substation/switchyard project 
• Preparing estimation the erection hardware equipment B.O.Q for a substation project
• Equipment technical specification preparations for taking offer from manufacturer
• Technical BID Evaluation for major equipments

DETAILED ENGINEERING

• Preparation of all Primary engineering Deliverables.
• Secondary design aspects of substations, such as CT VT Sizing, Cable sizing, Protection & Control schemes,  Interlocking, Telecommunication etc.
• All design calculations related to Primary Engineering.
• Grounding system design, drawings and Bill of Materials.
• Lightning system design, drawings and BoM.
• Lighting system design and BoM.
• Technical data sheets verification of primary equipment. such as circuit breakers, disconnectors, earthing switches, instrument transformers, power transformers, etc.
• Providing optimized and customized solutions for various substation tenders (AIS, GIS, Hybrid).
• Use creativity wherever appropriate to provide best solutions for the given situation within the framework of tender.
• Vendor offer evaluations. FAT / SAT of primary equipment, system as and when needed.
• Responsible for obtaining customer approvals for the designs and drawings.
• Technical risk and opportunity assessment and validation.
• Estimation of engineering effort for each project for costing at tender stage.
• Innovative ideas to reduce Engineering effort.
